What is the shelf life of Sevansa products?

What is cold process soap?
Cold process soapmaking is a centuries-old method of making soap. This involves combining oils with water and sodium hydroxide (lye)—a process known as saponification. No lye remains in the soap after saponification. After being cut, the soap bars cure on a rack for several weeks, which allows ample time for any remaining water to evaporate, leaving behind a solid bar of soap. This soapmaking method preserves the nutritive properties of the oils and results in a bar with naturally occurring glycerin, a well-known skin hydrator.
How long will my bar of soap last?
Approximately 2-4 weeks with daily use. To increase the longevity of your bar, be sure to store it in a cool and dry spot when not in use.
Can I use your soaps on my face?
Yes, all Sevansa 3-in-1 Botanical Soap Bars are gentle, skin-nurturing, and formulated for use on face and body.
I have a nut allergy. Can I use your products?
Yes, all Sevansa products are free of common allergens such as tree nut oils, soy, and coconut oil. However, it’s still recommended that you perform a patch test if you have high sensitivity to these items.
I have sensitive skin. Can I use your products?
Yes, all Sevansa products are gentle and specially-formulated for sensitive skin. However, it’s still recommended that you perform a patch test if you have particularly sensitive skin, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
I'm pregnant, can I use your products?
There are two Sevansa products made especially gentle enough for mothers-to-be: Bare & Unscented 3-in-1 Botanical Soap Bar and The Balm.
However, as always, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is still recommended that you consult with your healthcare provider prior to starting any new skincare or body care product.
Do you use synthetic ingredients in your products?
No, only the purest plant-based ingredients make it into a Sevansa product. No synthetic fragrances, colors, or detergents are ever used. Adhering to 100% ingredient transparency, every ingredient in a Sevansa product is listed on the product label for peace of mind.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, every Sevansa product is vegan and cruelty-free, always.
Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, all Sevansa products are gluten-free. However, it's still recommended that you perform a patch test if you have high sensitivity to gluten.
Are your products palm-oil-free?
Yes, all Sevansa products are free of palm oil.
Can I change my order details after the order is placed?
If you need to make updates to your order, please notify me no later than 4 hours after placing the order. Please email me at info@sevansa.com with your order number and desired changes.
How long does it take to process my order?
Most orders are processed in 2-4 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I only ship within the US and its territories.
What is your return policy?
Due to the personal nature of Sevansa products, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted (except on products that arrived to you damaged). However, I stand behind the quality of Sevansa products and your satisfaction matters. So please contact me at info@sevansa.com to seek a resolution.
My item arrived damaged. What do I do?
Please send me a photo of the damaged product, along with your order number, to info@sevansa.com within 3 days of receiving your item.
My order says "delivered" but I haven't received it. Can you replace it?
Sevansa is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen once they’ve been scanned by USPS. If a package is marked as “delivered” but hasn’t been received by you, it typically shows up within 24-48 hours of the “delivered” notification.
If you still haven’t received your package within 24-48 hours of the “delivered” notification, please visit the USPS website at https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm to review information on how to file a claim with USPS. Unfortunately, products and shipping cannot be refunded in this situation.
